Voith IPVA Hydraulic Internal Gear Pumps

Voith IPVA High-pressure Internal Gear Pump

Rotation of the pump gears pulls hydraulic oil or other pressure fluid into the void between the pinion gear shaft and the internal gear. Radially, the gear chambers close by the meshing of the gears and the filler piece. The axial plates seal the pressure chamber with the minimal possible gap. This radial/axial design provides minimal volume loss. As the internal gears rotate, the gear teeth enter the voids between teeth and displace the pressure fluid.

  • Internal gear design
  • Voith Superlip (seal lip) provides radial gap compensation
  • Involute gearing (non-cycloidal)
  • High volumetric and overall efficiency
  • Minimal flow and pressure pulsation
  • Compact dimensions and low weight
  • Wide speed and viscosity range
  • Capable of motor operation
