This is a relief valve for the Sunfab SCP series of pump that provides remote switching between idling and operation. A bypass is used in situations where the power remains engaged while the vehicle is in motion, such as road maintenance vehicles, concrete mixers, garbage trucks, etc. The bypass valve is remotely controlled making it possible to circulate a small amount of oil to the vehicle’s hydraulic equipment to cool the system. The bypass valve can also be operated manually, which makes control possible even in the event of a power failure.
