This dual flow pump equipped with a SAVTEC shut-off valve allows you to control the pump so that it only delivers oil when it is required. The Savtec valve can be remotely controlled with electrical 24V or pneumatic. The control signal is sent from a panel switch or automatically from components such as a the parking brake, pressure sensor or diode gate. When the Savtec valve is inactive it does not load the power take-off, improving fuel economy. The pump contains additional lubrication ducts on the bearings which lubricate even when the Savtec-valve closed. The pump is available in eight different sizes and three of those models feature differentiated flows that can provide three different flows. It offers a cost-effective option to a conventional installation using two separate pumps with a splitter gear box.
