This female SAE o-ring port inlet and a male JIC outlet in-line flow limiter avoids free fall in the event of a line failure, but allows a metered flow after closing. A flow below the limit is permitted from port 1 to port 2. Flow above the limit is treated as a line failure and restricted to 2.0 – 3.0 gpm at 3500 PSI.
