1. Standard NPTF ports. Port bosses are steel and are welded to the cylinder barrel. Ports can be rotated to any position relative to the mounting and the other ports. SAE ports are also available.
  2. Excellent sealing properties and piston bearing durability are created by the cold-drawn 1026 steel cylinder barrel, which is polished to a fine finish.
  3. Ductile iron rod gland is retained in the tube with a snap ring, providing excellent bearing support and durability.
  4. The one-piece, o-ring sealed piston is made of ductile iron for strength and prevention of damage from shock loads. A self-locking nut is used to lock
the piston to the piston rod permanently.
  5. Chrome-plated piston rod made of C1045 steel offers 75,000psi yield.
  6. High-durometer gland o-ring seal with backup for leak-free performance.
  7. The WM series rod seals are twin lipped urethane. The WP series rod seals are nitrite u-cup. Viton seals are also available.
  8. The WM series standard piston seals are o-rings with wear bands. Step-cut cast iron rings, Viton seals, and hi-load seals optional. The WP series uses a nitrite u-cup. Viton seals are optional on WP series.
  9. Urethane rod wiper to prevent contamination. Viton wiper is available if fluid compatibility or high or temperatures are a consideration (to 400°F). Metallic scrapers and low-friction wipers are available options.
